<p>There is a full-time Service Counselor position in the Emergency Road Service Department at the Independence Administrative Office located at 5700 Brecksville Road. This call center operates 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. The work schedule is 5:00pm - 1:30am for a total of 40 hours a week. </p> <p><strong>Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Answers telephone requests from members requesting emergency road service assistance.</li> <li>Uses a Quality Assurance approach with members to acquire all pertinent information necessary to handle the member's request promptly, efficiently and courteously.</li> <li>Explains AAA Emergency Road Service policies and procedures to members.</li> <li>Handles member "call back" calls due to complaints or inquires on existing or past calls.</li> <li>Handles dispatcher position if assigned either as relief or as a daily assignment.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualified individuals will have:</strong></p> <ul> <li> Minimum of two years of work experience in customer service.</li> <li> Excellent customer service, communication, and teamwork skills.</li> <li> Ability to handle members and co-workers tactfully, diplomatically, politely and courteously.</li> <li>Ability to handle stressful situations in a calm and professional manner.</li> <li>Accurate typing or computer keyboarding skills of 35 wpm.</li> <li>General knowledge of area highway systems.</li> <li>Flexible to work a schedule which would include weekends and holidays.</li> </ul> <p> </p>df-lj More...
