Part Time less than 40 hours - 5pm until 9pm M-F, occasional weekend CCF Regional Operations has an exciting part-time opportunity for a PA at the Independence Family Health Center in their Express Clinic! The PA will assist in providing access to patients during non-traditional hours by treating minor medical conditions and symptoms. Previous experience is required. JOB SUMMARY: Tier II-- Outpatient, Community based (T3114S,D2916S) With the supervision of a Physician, (as per O.R.C. 4730) performs complete histories and physicals on patients of all ages to establish and record patient's current health status and to develop a working diagnosis and treatment plan to provide continuing medical care, including daily examinations, writing orders, chart notes, discharging patients and completing discharge summaries. This medical care may be in a variety of clinical settings. PA's are privileged by the Board of Governors. PA's in the Outpatient Community based care role provide outpatient based care to patients (more than 50% of their time) with complex, possibly acute and chronic health conditions. Outpatient community care PA's practice in a setting that requires the performance of diagnostic and therapeutic interventions to manage acute and chronic health problems. Must have the ability to work with multi-disciplinary teams. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Graduate of an A.M.A.-approved Physician Assistant Program. Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies or 10 years clinical practice as a PA with licensure in Ohio (before Dec. 31, 2006), Eligible to apply for licensure to prescribe from the OSMB.
